The Upper Valley Freestyle Series is a whitewater rodeo competition for paddlers of all skill levels. It will give paddlers from the North East a unique chance to show off their best moves in a low-key,
relaxed, and fun competition. The competition will be free to all!
The series will be held the last Sunday afternoon of every month, starting in May, and will run through September. The Upper Valley Freestyle Series will take place at Sumner Falls/Hartland Rapids. Registration will be 12:30 - 1:30 with the competition beginning at 2:00.
Prizes are awarded after each competition through a raffle in which all participants and volunteers are eligible. Scores will accumulate to determine series winners after the final event in September. Series champs get bragging rights until the 2009 Series start!
Still River Outfitters, Inc. will host a BBQ after each competition. SRO will provide the grills, hot dogs, etc. and everyone is encouraged to bring something to share!
